Psychotherapist & Somatic Practitioner
- Referred by a therapist
- Clients in 10+ countries
Hi, I'm Priyanka! From a young age, I have been deeply attuned to the silent dialogue between the mind and the body. I witnessed early on how a mother’s touch could soothe physical pain and how my own skin acted as a canvas for my internal stress. These early observations, coupled with a lifelong intuitive sensitivity, have evolved through years of dedicated inner work and professional training into a grounded, multidimensional therapeutic practice. Hence, I view therapy not as a rigid set of protocols, but as a collaborative, relational sanctuary. My work is rooted in the belief that the patterns of your life of your struggles, your resilience, and your untapped strengths are already present; we simply need to create the space to witness and understand them.
This sensitivity shapes how I relate to people today, both personally and in my work as a therapist. Over the years, I’ve worked with individuals across life stages, from college students and corporate professionals to people in leadership roles and senior positions, helping them navigate inner and relational worlds with care. My practice blends cognitive exploration with movement-based and body-led work, grounded in curiosity and research-backed approaches. Therapy, for me, is not a rigid protocol but a collaborative, relational space that reflects the patterns, struggles, and strengths already present in your life.
Some clients prefer structured goals and regular check-ins, while others benefit from a more open, exploratory process. I tailor my approach to your personality, your pace, and the layers you’re ready to explore, whether that’s childhood patterns, relationship dynamics, trauma, neurodivergence, or shorter-term concerns like habit formation. Many of my clients, particularly those who are naturally quiet or who have felt misunderstood in previous relationships have shared that they feel truly "seen" for the first time in our sessions. My intention is to meet you with a balance of gentleness and depth, fostering the clarity and resilience needed for your evolution.
I invite you to bring your curiosity and openness to our sessions. Together, we will navigate your inner world to create a more grounded, authentic connection to yourself.
12650+ hours of work in therapy
I didn't stop learning after my masters, I have been continuously investing in practical case-based training, client work, and my own personal therapy.
We show therapy sessions so you can better understand a therapist's real-world experience.
Two therapists may both have five years in practice, yet one might have completed 500 sessions while another has completed 3,000. This depends on whether they practice part-time or full-time and how consistently they see clients. Session counts make that difference visible.
Just as you would not trust a surgeon who has only read about the human body but never operated, therapy cannot be mastered through textbooks alone. While many master's programs in India are heavily theory-driven, practical training develops the real skill of therapy - learning how to ask the right question, when to hold silence, when to challenge, and how to respond in complex emotional moments.
Therapists are human, and they carry their own histories. When a client's experiences resemble their own, old patterns can get activated.
For example, if a therapist grew up with a highly critical parent and a client shares a similar experience, that old pattern can get activated. They may unconsciously over-identify, rescue, or react instead of staying objective. Personal therapy helps therapists recognise their own triggers and patterns so they can respond thoughtfully and continue to hold a non-judgemental space. Nobody is born non judgemental, it takes a lot of personal work to get there.

✨ Priyanka is one of the most extensively trained therapists you'll find, weaving together talk-based exploration, creative expression, and body-based awareness. This means therapy with her can look quite different from session to session, adapting to what you need, whether that's making sense of patterns, processing emotions through movement or creativity, or regulating your nervous system.
What sessions with me feel like
I invite you to arrive as you are. We usually begin by tuning into what feels present for you, not just in thoughts and words, but also in sensations and the quieter signals your body is sending. Our bodies often hold things long before our minds make sense of them, and part of what we do together is gently bring those layers into awareness.
Some sessions are more reflective and conversational, others might open into movement, creative expression, or simply staying with an emotion that needs space. We move between the present and earlier experiences at a pace that feels right for you, always with care and consent.
I hold both structure and openness. For some people, clarity comes through goals and anchors; for others, it emerges through following what unfolds naturally. Either way, my intention is to offer a space where all parts of you are welcome.

Outside therapy
I believe healing is both an art and a journey. Outside my practice, I find joy in pottery, dancing, singing, and creating artwork, each piece a reflection of my belief that expression is medicine for the soul. I love cycling and swimming, which keep me grounded in movement and presence. My curiosity often leads me to explore new cuisines and cultural styles, embracing diversity with openness and delight. All of these passions mirror my therapeutic approach: creative, dynamic, and deeply human.

What clients say
"As an international client from the UK, I worked with Priyanka while in India for several months. Her integrative approach, using talk therapy, art, movement, and play, helped me work through chronic pain, work stress, and fears around an invisible disability. Her sensitivity to both local and international experiences made me feel understood and supported. I finished therapy feeling lighter, stronger, and more capable."

Frequently Asked Questions
What approaches do you work with?
I work in a deeply integrative way, combining Transactional Analysis, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), body-based and expressive therapies, EMDR, and mindfulness-based approaches. I may also draw from creative and somatic practices such as movement, art, and nervous-system regulation to support deeper emotional processing.
What languages do you offer sessions in?
I offer sessions in English, Hindi, Kannada, and Turkish.
What type of people may not be the right fit for you?
I may not be the right fit if you are primarily seeking support for autism or psychosis, as these concerns often require more specialised or multidisciplinary care.
Do you have experience working with clients outside India? Which countries?
Yes. I have worked with clients across 10+ countries through online therapy, including individuals from the UAE, Canada, France, Netherlands, Singapore, UK, USA, Switzerland and Hong Kong.
Are your sessions more structured or exploratory?
My sessions balance structure and exploration. Some clients benefit from clear goals and check-ins, while others prefer a more open and experiential process. I adapt the structure based on what supports your growth best.
Will I get exercises or reflection work between sessions?
Sometimes. Depending on your needs, I may suggest reflective practices, creative exercises, or body-based awareness between sessions, but these are always collaborative and tailored to what feels supportive for you.
What if I disagree with you?
I genuinely welcome disagreement in our work together. If something I say doesn't sit right with you, I encourage you to share it openly. Therapy is a collaborative space, and your voice matters deeply here. Often, moments of disagreement lead to powerful insights, about patterns, boundaries, needs, or past experiences. Exploring these moments together can become an important part of your therapeutic growth and help us build a more honest, trusting relationship.
What if it doesn't feel like it's working after a few sessions?
Let's talk about it openly. Therapy is a collaborative process, and it's important that you feel safe sharing if something doesn't feel right. Sometimes, naming what isn't working can lead to meaningful shifts in the work itself. You are always free to pause, take a break, or explore a different therapist if that feels better for you. We can have that conversation together first, or you can also reach out to the Mindbun team for support in finding a better fit. Your comfort and growth matter more than pushing through something silently.
