Psychotherapist
- Referred by a therapist
- Clients in 7+ countries
Hi, I'm Rakhee. My journey into therapy began after years of working in the corporate world, leading teams and supporting people through the everyday pressures of performance and balance. Those years gave me a close view of how stress and conflict can shape not just careers, but also inner lives. Over time, I felt drawn to go deeper , to understand people beyond roles and titles, and to walk alongside them in their personal struggles.
That search brought me to psychotherapy. I trained extensively in Transactional Analysis and gradually began weaving in somatic approaches, learning how the body carries what words sometimes cannot. In my sessions now, I invite clients to explore not just their thoughts and feelings, but also the signals and responses of their body, creating a fuller awareness of themselves. My style is deeply relational, I believe that the relationship between therapist and client can be a powerful mirror for how we relate to others in our lives. I pay close attention to what's unfolding between us in the room, and use it gently to build awareness, trust, and healing.
Along the way, I've attended workshops with internationally renowned psychotherapists like Richard Erskine and Van Joines, which have further shaped my deeply relational and compassionate way of working.
Today, I work with clients in 7+ countries, holding sensitivity to the cultural shifts that come with moving abroad, or the burden that follows after leaving home to move to another city, or the challenges in the work as well as personal life. What remains central is, whether I'm sitting with someone in Bangalore or speaking to them online across continents, I am offering a warm, steady space where they can pause, reflect, and reconnect with themselves.
7800+ hours of work in therapy
I didn't stop learning after my masters, I have been continuously investing in practical case-based training, client work, and my own personal therapy.
We show therapy sessions so you can better understand a therapist's real-world experience.
Two therapists may both have five years in practice, yet one might have completed 500 sessions while another has completed 3,000. This depends on whether they practice part-time or full-time and how consistently they see clients. Session counts make that difference visible.
Just as you would not trust a surgeon who has only read about the human body but never operated, therapy cannot be mastered through textbooks alone. While many master's programs in India are heavily theory-driven, practical training develops the real skill of therapy - learning how to ask the right question, when to hold silence, when to challenge, and how to respond in complex emotional moments.
Therapists are human, and they carry their own histories. When a client's experiences resemble their own, old patterns can get activated.
For example, if a therapist grew up with a highly critical parent and a client shares a similar experience, that old pattern can get activated. They may unconsciously over-identify, rescue, or react instead of staying objective. Personal therapy helps therapists recognise their own triggers and patterns so they can respond thoughtfully and continue to hold a non-judgemental space. Nobody is born non judgemental, it takes a lot of personal work to get there.

✨ Rakhee has trained with internationally renowned psychotherapy teachers in Transactional Analysis, Psychodrama, and Somatic work. Very few therapists in India are deeply trained across all three, and fewer still have done so under globally accredited faculty.
I work with adults between 18 and 65 in individual therapy.
I have extensive experience working with professionals in high-pressure leadership roles, including founders, CEOs, VC professionals, and senior leaders across India and 7+ countries. Having previously worked in demanding corporate environments myself, I understand the psychological weight of performance, responsibility, and visibility.
You are in the right place if you are not primarily seeking relief from neurodivergence, eating disorders or psychosis.

Approaches I Use
- Transactional Analysis (TA)
- Relational Transactional Analysis
- Body based approaches
- Somatic Experiencing
- Emotion-focused techniques
- Psychodrama
✨ Many therapists work only through talking. Rakhee is trained to work with patterns (through Transactional Analysis), inner parts (through Psychodrama), and the nervous system (through Somatic work). This rare combination allows her to adapt the work to what you need at the moment.
What sessions with me feel like
My sessions are a space of deep presence, where your thoughts, emotions, and bodily experiences are all honored. I take a gentle, conversational approach, focusing on what you bring in the moment, without rushing to conclusions or solutions. Together, we explore the interplay between your mind and body, noticing how each affects the other, and creating a sense of calm and safety for both. Through this mindful exploration, we gradually uncover insights, release tension, and nurture growth allowing transformation to unfold naturally, in harmony with both your inner world and your body.

Outside therapy
In my life, I've learned that real people's stories often hold the power to shift perspectives and touch hearts. Outside therapy, I nurture this love for stories as a storyteller with Kathalaya - House of Storytelling, where I share and deliver stories with care, detail, and presence.

What clients say
"Through therapy with Rakhee, I've slowly learned to make room for my feelings in a way I hadn't before. I've always been able to set boundaries, but now I'm learning to set ones that honour how I feel, not just what I think. I'm also beginning to connect with my inner child, to notice her presence, listen to her, and care for her needs. These shifts, though subtle, have brought a deep sense of peace and personal growth into my life."
Female, 35, Entrepreneur/Founder
I've been referred to Mindbun by therapist Chaitali Shetty and approved for practice by my trainer, Haseena Abdulla (TSTA), ITAA recognised TA trainer.
Therapists know what good therapy feels like. That's why this referral is stronger, and why you can trust it.
Frequently Asked Questions
What approaches do you work with?
I work with Transactional Analysis (including Relational TA), Somatic Experiencing, body-based psychotherapy, and emotion-focused approaches, integrating talk therapy with embodied awareness.
What languages do you offer sessions in?
I offer sessions in English, Hindi, and Punjabi.
What type of people may not be the right fit for you?
I may not be the right fit if you are primarily seeking support for neurodivergence, eating disorders, or psychosis.
Do you have experience working with clients outside India? Which countries?
Yes. I work with clients across 7+ countries, including the UK, US, UAE, Switzerland, Germany, Canada through online therapy.
Are your sessions more structured or exploratory?
My sessions are primarily exploratory and relational, with a strong focus on both conversation and body awareness rather than a rigid structure.
Will I get exercises or reflection work between sessions?
Sometimes. I may suggest gentle somatic practices or reflections, but only if they support your process, there is no pressure or fixed homework.
What if I disagree with you?
I genuinely welcome disagreement in our work together. If something I say doesn't sit right with you, I encourage you to share it openly. Therapy is a collaborative space, and your voice matters deeply here. Often, moments of disagreement lead to powerful insights, about patterns, boundaries, needs, or past experiences. Exploring these moments together can become an important part of your therapeutic growth and help us build a more honest, trusting relationship.
What if it doesn't feel like it's working after a few sessions?
Let's talk about it openly. Therapy is a collaborative process, and it's important that you feel safe sharing if something doesn't feel right. Sometimes, naming what isn't working can lead to meaningful shifts in the work itself. You are always free to pause, take a break, or explore a different therapist if that feels better for you. We can have that conversation together first, or you can also reach out to the Mindbun team for support in finding a better fit. Your comfort and growth matter more than pushing through something silently.
